Entities and identity

People, assets, projects, characters, events and ideas, connected through their sources.

Crypto stories reach beyond tokens. A character can inspire several launches, a news event can shift an ecosystem's mood, and one person can publish across platforms. WALPHA distinguishes the subjects involved and investigates how they connect.

What WALPHA recognizes

SubjectWhat WALPHA distinguishesWhy it matters
Social accountA profile on its own platformKeeps the original X or Telegram voice visible
Person or teamThe people behind accounts, where evidence connects themHelps follow a source across platforms
TickerA symbol used in a postProvides an entry point while separating different assets with the same symbol
TokenIts address and networkConnects calls and market history to the right asset
WalletIts address and networkAdds on-chain activity and available relationships
Project or launchpadA product, initiative or place where tokens launchConnects development, launches and community discussion
Network or ecosystemA chain or a wider group of related projects and communitiesHelps investigate rotation and attention between ecosystems
Character or cultural objectA persona, meme, symbol or cultural referenceShows how an idea can move across communities and inspire different tokens
Media objectAn image, video or other identifiable media itemKeeps the shared object connected to the discussions around it
Real-world eventA dated occurrence described by its sourcesConnects news and events to changing context
MechanismHow something works, such as a burn, buyback or creator-fee flowDistinguishes the underlying idea from a token name
NarrativeA theme developing across sourcesHelps follow recurring meaning and emerging stories

Posts, messages, replies and quotes preserve where these subjects appeared. Claims keep what was said attached to the source that said it.

One name can lead to several subjects

A character, a project and several tokens can share a familiar name. WALPHA keeps the cultural reference connected to the story while distinguishing each asset by address and network.

Several tokens can also share a ticker. A project may launch a new asset or migrate to another one. Names and symbols help with discovery; the address and network keep a token's history attached to the right asset.

Reading connections

  • Confirmed identity. Source information establishes which account or asset a reference belongs to.
  • Possible connection. A relationship worth investigating that has not been established yet.
  • Mentioned together. Subjects appear in the same source, without necessarily sharing ownership or a position.
  • Research interpretation. WALPHA's reading of the available material.
  • Updated relationship. New evidence changes the current view while earlier information stays in the history.

Why this matters in the product

You can follow a theme into its projects and tokens, open the people discussing it and explore available wallet context. The source and relationships keep each step connected to the story that brought you there.
