Hot Motion is the fast-scan surface for asset conversation. It highlights what is moving inside a defined time window and helps an operator decide which evidence trail to open next.
What a card represents
Each card is a ticker-centered motion signal, not automatically a verified token. It combines recent mention velocity, independent author activity, recurrence and available entity resolution.
Status labels describe the current phase:
- new — first meaningful appearance in the comparison window;
- rising — breadth or activity is expanding;
- hot — sustained movement meets the active product criteria;
- cooling — activity has fallen relative to the previous window.
Author change
The author delta compares independent participation across adjacent windows. Positive and negative percentages are directional context, not price performance.
Opening the dossier
Use a card to inspect source posts, leading accounts and candidate contracts. If the ticker is ambiguous, WALPHA keeps candidates separate until stronger evidence resolves the link.
